Subject: New Requirement – DeltaV Automation Engineer

Location: Thousand Oaks CA

Remote Work

 In-depth understanding of Emerson DeltaV platform.

1. In-depth understanding of PLC hardware/software platforms such as Rockwell Automation, and Siemens.

• In-depth understanding of HMI/SCADA hardware/software platforms such as Servers, VM’s, Networks, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk and Plant Pax, Aveva System Platform and Edge, Inductive Automation Ignition, GE iFIX, Siemens Winn CC and TI Portal.

• Understanding of DCS hardware/software platforms such as Emerson DeltaV or similar.

• Understanding of Batch/Recipes, OEE, MES, and ERP systems.

• Experience in industries such as Life Sciences, Building Automation, Food and Beverage, and Water Treatment.

• Experience in the design of electrical schematics, and control panels.

• Experience with AutoCAD is also desired

• Experience leading a team of engineers/technicians to provide control system solutions

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science preferred) and 5 years experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science preferred) and 4 years experience.

1. Minimum of 5 years applicable automation and/or instrument and control system experience.

1. Minimum of 3 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry/GMP experience.

 Nice to have:

1. Pharma domain experience

1. Knowledge of Application lifecycle management (ALM) tool 

1. Knowledge of Trackwise tool
